One Pan Bacon Ranch Garlic Parmesan Pasta is an easy and satisfying one pot pasta meal that the whole family will love! Creamy garlic parmesan spaghetti is loaded up with even more mouthwatering flavor with the addition of crisp bacon and savory ranch!
Have you guys seen all of those recipes around on Pinterest that start with the name “crack?” Like, “crack chicken” or “crack dip?” I’m sure you have, it’s everywhere! What’s my point? This pasta is a little like crack – I didn’t want to share one single bite of this with my family, and I would have been happy to lick the pan clean! I’m not going to call my pasta crack either, let’s just call it the BEST garlic parmesan pasta ever!
That garlic parmesan sauce is just so amazingly creamy, and velvety then you have the flavor explosion of bacon and ranch throughout. Seriously, lip smacking, plate licking, can’t stop devouring this pasta, GOOD! What I love most about one pot pasta dishes is how the pasta cooks right in the sauce, absorbing all of that amazing flavor!
Added bonus, there’s really nothing to making the sauce at all. It’s impossibly easy! You won’t need any special equipment, and no flour or cornstarch necessary. This tasty pasta sauce thickens up all on its own, and the entire dish is ready to eat in 30 minutes or less.
It’s easy to say that this one pot dinner was a major lifesaver for me as my kids headed back to school from their two week winter break. We were all struggling to get up in the morning and by dinner time I needed the quickest and easiest thing possible! I know everyone at my table will clean their plates when this pasta is served!

Awesome. Followed exception I don’t have milk ever so used half n half, liquid ranch and hubby loved. Will make again. Love your recipes
Thanks for this recipe!!!…we really enjoyed it, I prepared it as written but used linguine and added sun dried tomatoes at the end, it was so delicious, it’s going in my top recipe collection for weeknight meals…???
Thanks Karen for that tidbit of adding sun dried tomatoes!
Can I use ranch salad dressing instead? Would I substitute the sour cream perhaps?
Yes, you can and leave out the sour cream 🙂
I can’t find the place to put a comment of my own but this comment is most related to my question. Several members of my family won’t eat sour cream. Can I leave it out and still use powder ranch? Or is does the dressing work better? Or is there something I can use as a substitute?
Recipe was great and so easy. I added shallots and sun dried tomatoes at the end. Delicious!!
Wife and I absolutely love it but just want to know if anybody has tried the buttermilk ranch instead and how did it come out and taste?
Everyone talks about leaving the salt out. I didn’t even see in the recipe. Bacon makes the recipe salty enough. I cut up some fresh tomatoes and they were a nice addition. Great easy but elegant recipe!!
Nice, easy recipe but do not add a whole tablespoon of ranch!! A teaspoon would have been more than enough.
I just made this and it was so good!!! I used the crumble bacon from Costco cause I hate making bacon on the stove top. Used all the ingredients but I used heavy cream instead of milk. Can’t wait for leftovers. 🙂
I visited my Mom and made this for her before her night shift. She had everything but the ranch seasoning. It was a pretty quick recipe. She loved it! And she ‘s getting pretty picky in her old age so that’s saying something! I will definitely make it again!
This recipe is a life saver for unexpected guests! I sautéed frozen shrimp in butter, garlic & lemon pepper. Added young, fresh asparagus for the last 2 minutes. Didn’t have spaghetti, used whatever pasta I had. Didn’t have sour cream, used vanilla yogurt. Didnt add salt, bacon was enough. Didn’t have parsley, used green onion.
EVERYONE raved!
If it weren’t for this comment, I would have forgotten (missed) the sour cream! Whew!
