hawaiian dip with cream cheese

This is one of those short and sweet mid-week posts from me this Wednesday.  I just had to share this dip with you because I think it’s so fun, and a really unique one for summer!

If someone LOVES Hawaiian style pizza, they will adore this dip.  If they don’t like Hawaiian pizza (like me) they will totally love this dip too.

There is nothing better to me than a good snack that combines sweet and savory for the ultimate flavor explosion!  This Hawaiian dip takes about 5 minutes to put together, and no heating it required, perfect for summer pool parties!

easy hawaiian dip

Hawaiian Dip starts out with cream cheese and a bit of sour cream mixed together with pineapple juice.  Then, you simply layer on the rest of your ingredients.  I use a cheddar cheese blend, but, you could use just cheddar if you wish.  I also have a feeling this would be tasty with Pepper Jack!

Next, layer on ham, crushed pineapple, bacon bits, and green onion.  If you don’t want to layer, you can absolutely just mix all of this together in one big bowl.  I only layer because I love the way it looks!

  1. What size can of crushed pineapple are you using? I have seen many copies of this recipe, all identical with no size can for the pineapple.

  2. 5 stars
I have been making this for years. I love to hollow out a loaf of Hawaiian bread, fill with the dip, wrap in foil and bake in oven until heated through for a warm dip, also!

Found this recipe a year ago and made it for a pool party, it’s delicious and hard to stop eating once you start! I also mixed the ingredients together so they mesh better and then sprinkle ham and pineapple on top to make it look pretty! It is now my requested dip to make for summer parties

  4. Sounds delish, but what did you use for dippers? Chips, crackers, not sure what compliment theflavor combo

    1. We love the pretzel crisps/crackers or the ritz crackers that are pretzel on one side, cracker on other side 🙂

  5. I have we find this recipe. It is hard to eat with big chunks of ham. So I pulse them in the food processor or blender. Also I don’t layer it mix it all together. The flavors mingle better and again it is easier to eat. Everyone has loved it. But I can’t find a calorie count per serving. Anyone know the answer?

  6. Awesome I am definitely trying this and will make for a baby shower, thank you so much for the recipe
