Hey, friends! Another Monday, another absolutely amazing cheesecake dip recipe from yours truly!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I’m kinda obsessed with cheesecake dips. So far, I’ve put up my reader fave which is my Key Lime Pie Cheesecake Dip and then of course just in time for fall my Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip!
Now, of course it’s almost Christmas and we need a sweet dip for ever season, right? Plus, I had a gigantic box of candy canes still in my pantry from last year (No, they weren’t expired, promise) and I really needed to do something with those guys.
While I personally love baking and adore all of the desserts on the holiday table like these Christmas Sprinkle Cookies, I also love keeping an easy dessert recipe in my back pocket. Holiday season is busy, let’s keep life simple!
Truthfully, my kids make our holiday dips all by themselves most of the time. They’re that easy! I can bake, the kids can make dip. It helps me out a ton with time in the kitchen, and then of course, the kiddos can brag to the guests that THEY made a dessert too!
This super fun dip only takes seven ingredients total. Cream cheese (of course), sugar, peppermint and vanilla extracts, whipped topping (like Cool Whip), and candy canes!
I like to fold half of the crushed candy canes into the dip for some crunch throughout. That is totally optional. If you like your dip more on the smooth side, you can half the number of candy canes and use them on top of the dip only.
One last note, this dip can be made ahead of time. Simply make as directed, cover, refrigerate, and use within two days for best results!

- 8 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 Container Whipped Topping
- 2 Teaspoons Peppermint Extract
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 7 Candy Canes, Crushed
In a large bowl mix together the softened cream cheese, sugar, milk, and extracts until well combined and smooth.
Fold in the Whipped topping, then fold in half of the crushed candy canes.
Top with remaining candy canes, chill until serving.
