Instant Pot Country Style Ribs – These Instant Pot Country Style Ribs are so tender and flavorful! They start with a simple dry rub, are smothered in bbq sauce, and cooked up in your Instant Pot pressure cooker for a delicious and easy meal!
Yes, you guys! Back in action with the Instant Pot!
After I used it to make the Instant Pot Spaghetti, I couldn’t wait to put more delicious foods up in this bad boy.
We’re also back in action with back to school.
I feel like moms and dads everywhere are torn on whether they’re happy to have their kids head back to class or not.
I’m in the “not” category this year. Summer just went by way too fast!
Can they just go back in October or something? Because, I mean, it IS really warm here still.
It should be illegal to send people back to school when it’s still warm enough out to go swimming.
Right?? Right.

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled food programming here.
I decided to go with country style pork ribs because they are so very meaty!
I do like baby back ribs as well, but I’ve definitely bought them, then been disappointed at the measly amount of meat I got out of it.
Using country style ribs ensures that everybody leaves the table satisfied!
Depending on your grocery store, sometimes these ribs are sold bone in, and sometimes bone out. Mine were bone out. But, either one will work just fine!
I love how easy these are and that I can have some tasty BBQ ribs on the table in about an hour.
Yes, I said an hour, but pretty much all of that time is hands off for you because the ribs are cooking to super tender perfection in the Instant Pot!
The dry rub for these babies is made up of spices that you most likely already have at home.
You slather the dry rub on. Get some beef broth in the bottom of your Instant Pot. Put the ribs in and pour on your favorite BBQ sauce. Then, let it do it’s thing!
These boneless pork ribs will melt in your mouth, and become a new family favorite!

Very tasty – I did not think you needed that much broth. And once done and natural released I put more bbq sauce on each one and broiled for a few minutes to make the texture more to our desire! Easy and will do again! Thank you!
Been eating this meal literally every month for 2 years. Incredible
Made them tonight. I had a 6 lb package. I doubled everything, but would most likely not double the broth next time. They are very good!
Did you cook twice as long?
I read somewhere else that the cook time doesn’t change. Just takes longer for InstaPot/pressure cooker to come to full pressure and start cooking.
Joan, do you remember if you doubled the cook time, left it? Just curious.
I love this recipe but am doubling it today for Super Bowl and I want them to be delicious!
Can I make this without cummin? I’m allergict to it.
Yes, just leave it out it will taste fine 🙂
This quick, easy and yummy. I added a little cumin to the marinade, because I like the flavor; otherwise, I followed the recipe and the ribs turned out perfect.
Absolutely delicious! I only made 1.5 lbs of boneless ribs, but still used the recommended amount of spices and bbq sauce. I didn’t have beef broth on hand so I used chicken broth. I cooked for 40 minutes instead of 45, then basted them with more bbq sauce and broiled for a few minutes in the oven. Super easy recipe. I WILL say though that I’m not a fan of the cumin taste. Next time I will omit the cumin and just use more brown sugar since I like them sweet. I also used Sweet Baby Ray’s original bbq because that stuff is the bees knees.
Did anyone figure out if the time needed to be reduced for 1.5 lbs?
I am thinking the 40 mins is a good rule of thumb. I didn’t see anyone come back to comment back afterwards. Anyone? Thanks in advance!
I keep coming back to check that same thing. I did mine 42 min. I think 40 would be about right also. Love this recipe!
Same cook time, just takes more time to pressurize the more meat you use
There is a comment in here she doubled recipe but not time. It turned out great except she would not double liquid next time.
Informative simple recipe. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner using/following this recipe. Meat was incredibly fall-off-the-bone tender, yet moist and very ģ😊 ⁶Thanks very much.
How long would I cook 6 pounds of ribs? I assume I can stack them? Thanks!!
I have put this recipe into the family meal rotation and have made it maybe ten times. Comes out perfectly and is gobbled up every time. What a delicious way to enjoy a cheaper cut of meat. Thank You!
P.S. I have to say that everyone of your recipes have been spot on.
