How To Make Fruit Dip

Use a hand or stand mixer to beat the cream cheese. Use softened cream cheese so it’s easier to mix and continue beating until smooth. Remember to let it sit on the counter for about 30-45 minutes prior to using. There’s nothing more annoying than reaching for an ingredient, only to realize you forgot to take it out of the fridge!
Add to the base. Pour in the condensed milk, vanilla extract, lime zest, and lime juice. Mix until fully incorporated.
Fold it in. Fold in the cool whip and combine.
Serve. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve or set out right away. Serve alongside your favorite fruits and snacks!

Storing Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

You can store your leftover Fruit Dip tightly wrapped and in the fridge for up to 4 days. This recipe is great to make ahead when prepping for a party or get together! I like to make this dip a day ahead of my events, that way it’s chilled and ready to go when I am. The only hard part is waiting to eat it… The temptation to sneak a few bites is so real!

Ingredients Notes for Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

Cool Whip – While you can use regular Cool Whip, the extra creamy variety will make your fruit dip even smoother. Of course, you can always use a generic brand if preferred.
Cream Cheese – Full fat cream cheese will give you a richer flavor and thicker consistency. Remember to let it soften to room temperature.
Lime Juice/Zest – You could substitute lemon instead of lime for a similar tangy effect.
Vanilla – Opt for pure vanilla extract when you can instead of imitation. The flavor makes a huge difference!
