Instant Pot Country Style Ribs - These Instant Pot Country Style Ribs are so tender and flavorful! They start with a simple dry rub, are smothered in bbq sauce, and cooked up in your Instant Pot pressure cooker for a delicious and easy meal!
Yes, you guys! Back in action with the Instant Pot!
After I used it to make the Instant Pot Spaghetti, I couldn't wait to put more delicious foods up in this bad boy.
We're also back in action with back to school.
I feel like moms and dads everywhere are torn on whether they're happy to have their kids head back to class or not.
I'm in the "not" category this year. Summer just went by way too fast!
Can they just go back in October or something? Because, I mean, it IS really warm here still.
It should be illegal to send people back to school when it's still warm enough out to go swimming.
Right?? Right.

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled food programming here.
I decided to go with country style pork ribs because they are so very meaty!
I do like baby back ribs as well, but I've definitely bought them, then been disappointed at the measly amount of meat I got out of it.
Using country style ribs ensures that everybody leaves the table satisfied!
Depending on your grocery store, sometimes these ribs are sold bone in, and sometimes bone out. Mine were bone out. But, either one will work just fine!
I love how easy these are and that I can have some tasty BBQ ribs on the table in about an hour.
Yes, I said an hour, but pretty much all of that time is hands off for you because the ribs are cooking to super tender perfection in the Instant Pot!
The dry rub for these babies is made up of spices that you most likely already have at home.
You slather the dry rub on. Get some beef broth in the bottom of your Instant Pot. Put the ribs in and pour on your favorite BBQ sauce. Then, let it do it's thing!
These boneless pork ribs will melt in your mouth, and become a new family favorite!

Can I make this without cummin? I'm allergict to it.
Yes, just leave it out it will taste fine 🙂
This quick, easy and yummy. I added a little cumin to the marinade, because I like the flavor; otherwise, I followed the recipe and the ribs turned out perfect.
Absolutely delicious! I only made 1.5 lbs of boneless ribs, but still used the recommended amount of spices and bbq sauce. I didn't have beef broth on hand so I used chicken broth. I cooked for 40 minutes instead of 45, then basted them with more bbq sauce and broiled for a few minutes in the oven. Super easy recipe. I WILL say though that I'm not a fan of the cumin taste. Next time I will omit the cumin and just use more brown sugar since I like them sweet. I also used Sweet Baby Ray's original bbq because that stuff is the bees knees.
Did anyone figure out if the time needed to be reduced for 1.5 lbs?
I am thinking the 40 mins is a good rule of thumb. I didn't see anyone come back to comment back afterwards. Anyone? Thanks in advance!
I keep coming back to check that same thing. I did mine 42 min. I think 40 would be about right also. Love this recipe!
Same cook time, just takes more time to pressurize the more meat you use
Informative simple recipe. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner using/following this recipe. Meat was incredibly fall-off-the-bone tender, yet moist and very ģ😊 ⁶Thanks very much.
How long would I cook 6 pounds of ribs? I assume I can stack them? Thanks!!
I have put this recipe into the family meal rotation and have made it maybe ten times. Comes out perfectly and is gobbled up every time. What a delicious way to enjoy a cheaper cut of meat. Thank You!
P.S. I have to say that everyone of your recipes have been spot on.
Can I stack these?
Tried them tonight. Turned out perfect. Thanks for sharing!
Tried this recipe last night. EXCELLENT for timing and ingredients. I did broil the last coat of sauce on the ribs for that caramelized coating, but otherwise spot on. So easy and the meat is perfectly cooked (with or without broiling!). Thank you.
This recipe is delicious, my family loved them, I had no leftovers, they gobbled them up in 15 minutes time.
I popped them under the broiler with extra sauce to get a little crisp, but they were also fantastic right out the pot.
I'm making them again for New years eve, putting them on toasted King's Hawaiian rolls with asian slaw a d BBQ sauce.
Yum!
Thanks, this one's a keeper.
Great recipe
This sounds awesome! Would you cut the time down for something like 1.5lbs? Can't wait to try this 🙂
Did you figure it out? I am working on it right now. I just put 1.5# in for 40min.
How did that running go for 1.5 pounds? I'm doing this tonight with that same amount.
How long would you cook these in a crockpot?
Try 8 hours on low, that sounds right.
Can’t go wrong w this
6-8 hours on high or 8-10 on low, though really they are done when they fall apart easily using a fork.
Excellent! So tender and tons of flavor.
Made these delicious, tender boneless country style bbq'd ribs today. I got the recipe from The Salty Marshmallow. The recipe is Instant Pot Country Style Ribs. I followed the recipe using beef stock, which is listed as an option in the recipe instead of water for the liquid. I used my own homemade recipe for the bbq sauce. After pressure cooking, I took them out, slathered them with more bbq sauce & put them on a foil-lined cookie sheet on the middle shelf & finished them on broil to caramelize them. Hubby said they don't get any better than these! They were yummy!!
Do I cut the time if I only use a pound and a half of ribs?
Did you figure it out? I am working on it right now. I just put 1.5# in for 40min.
I made these ribs tonight and might I say they were better than anything I've ever had in a barbecue restaurant! Absolutely delicious!!! I WOULD GIVE THEM 10 STARS IF I COULD. I used a little Bulls Eye and Hunts original. Best bbq I've had in a long seriously!
