Fall in the Midwest is a funny thing.  Three days ago we were still running our air conditioner in the house, and this morning it was so chilly I had to turn on the heater.  I have lived in the Midwest my entire life, yet, I still seem surprised every single year at this crazy warm/cold/warm/cold back and forth shenanigans that my state produces.
