Seven Layer Dip

When it comes to party dips, nothing’s beating a classic Seven Layer Dip! Layers of creamy refried beans, cool guacamole, taco-seasoned sour cream, plenty of cheese, juicy tomatoes, black olives, and crisp green onions all come together harmoniously on a tortilla chip.

Ingredients

2 16oz Cans Refried beans
1 Cup Salsa
2 Tbsp Taco seasoning divided
2 Cups Sour cream
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
2 Cups Guacamole
2 Cups Shredded Mexican blend cheese
3 Medium tomatoes diced
1 6 oz Can Sliced black olives drained
6 Green onions sliced

Instructions

In a medium bowl, mix the refried beans with the salsa and 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning until combined.
Spread the bean mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish.
Spread the guacamole over the bean layer, being careful not to mix the layers.
In another bowl, stir together the sour cream, remaining tablespoon of taco seasoning, and garlic powder until smooth.
Spread the sour cream mixture over the guacamole layer, then sprinkle on the cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and finally green onions.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best flavor.
Serve chilled with tortilla chips and lime wedges if desired.
