Cheesy Baked Asparagus is quick, garlicky, and delightfully simple! Asparagus is seasoned before being roasted, covered with Havarti cheese, returned to the oven and baked once more just to get the cheese nice and melty.
Toss the asparagus in a square 8-inch or 8x5-inch baking pan with the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Roast for 6-8 minutes until just beginning to soften.
Remove the pan from the oven, sprinkle the cheese evenly over the asparagus, and return to the oven for 4-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the asparagus is tender.
Sprinkle with the dill and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
