  • 3 Cups Frozen Cubed Dragonfruit Pitaya
  • 2 Cups Frozen Whole Strawberries
  • 2 Cups Frozen Sliced Peaches
  • 2 750 ML Bottles Rose or Chardonnay
  • ½ Cup Vodka
  • 1 Liter Bottle Lemon Lime Soda

  • Add the frozen fruits to a large bowl. Microwave on defrost for 4-5 minutes, just until barely thawed. (The fruit should still be cold but releasing its juice)
  • Pour the defrosted fruit into a large pitcher.
  • Pour in the vodka, rose, and lemon lime soda.
  • Stir, and serve immediately over ice. Or, refrigerate until ready to serve, for up to 3 days.

NOTE:  This sangria makes a big pitcher, and is enough to serve 10-12 people.  You can easily sale this down and cut the recipe in half for a smaller batch.  Once mixed, this lasts in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, covered.
NOTE:  You can use fresh fruit instead of frozen if preferred.  If using fresh, you will want to chill the sangria for at least 3-4 hours before serving for best flavor.
NOTE:  Dragon Fruit is also called Pitaya.  For this recipe, we used frozen Pitaya cubes which can be found in the frozen fruit section of your supermarket.
