Lime Brownies are chewy, soft, and so easy to make from scratch! These blondie-style brownies feature plenty of fresh lime juice and zest for the best tangy flavor.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Mix the butter into the flour mixture until fully combined and thick.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla.
Stir the egg mixture into the flour mixture just until combined, being careful not to overmix.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the edges are set, and a toothpick comes out mostly clean when inserted in the center.
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Sift the powdered sugar into a medium bowl, then whisk in the remaining glaze ingredients until smooth. (If the glaze is too thick, you can add a tablespoon of milk or water at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.)
Spread evenly over the cooled brownies and let it set until it forms a "crust" on the top and the icing is no longer tacky. (This will take around 30 minutes.)
Zest more lime onto the brownies if desired before slicing and serving.
