Cream Cheese Pasta
This easy Cream Cheese Pasta is similar to a classic alfredo… But better! Softened cream cheese melts with hot pasta water into a silky sauce, then it’s mixed with parmesan to give it the best cheesy, salty kick. Throw in a handful of bold seasonings, and you’ve got your new favorite comfort food!

Ingredients
- 1 Pound Spaghetti pasta
- 8 Ounces Cream cheese softened
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp Dried basil
- 1/4-1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes
- 1 Cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente.
- Reserve 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and return it to the pot.
- Add the cream cheese, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir while gradually adding the reserved pasta water until a smooth sauce forms to coat the pasta.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese until melted and combined, adding more pasta water if needed.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, before serving with freshly minced parsley for garnish if desired.
