Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat
Sprinkle the flour over the melted butter and whisk until smooth
Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook whisking constantly for 3-4 minutes
Slowly whisk in the beef broth (about 1/2 to 1 Cup at a time) while whisking constantly
Whisk in the beef bouillon paste, worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder and salt and pepper to taste
Simmer over low to medium-low heat for 3-4 more minutes whisking occasionally until thickened.

NOTE ON BUTTER: Make sure you are using real butter not margarine. You can use salted butter if that's what you have just don't add extra salt without tasting.NOTE ON BOUILLON PASTE: I use Better Than Bouillon, you can also use powdered bouillon if that's what you have or just leave it out it is optional
