Sesame Garlic Ramen Noodles is the best ramen noodle recipe made easy at home with a simple and super flavorful sauce! Make ramen at home even better!

I grew up eating ramen noodles boiled right along with that super salty packet of seasoning, probably like most of us did! As we get older, and realize we probably don’t need ALL that sodium, but we do need flavor and quick, budget-friendly recipes, we start wondering what else can I do what that packet of crunchy noodles?! While we’re at it, this Miso Ramen is absolutely out of this world and we also love this tasty Veggie Beef Ramen too!
Ramen Noodles:
Packets of ramen are actually super versatile because they simply don’t taste like much on their own! Ditch the spice packet that comes with the noodles. When you use it, it kinda feels like eating salt water, because you basically are! My Sesame Garlic Ramen Noodles are one of my favorite ramen “hacks” because I can still take a product that is super duper easy on my budget, impossibly quick to make, and turn it into something amazing! The sauce for this recipe is full of garlic, sesame oil, sriracha, brown sugar, and soy sauce! Seriously good flavor here, and the sauce only takes 3-5 minutes to make, so it will be done at the same time your noodles are! This recipe has become one of our most popular! If you love it be sure to try this Thai Peanut Ramen Noodles Recipe too as well as our Beef and Broccoli Ramen Soup!

How do you Make Ramen Better?
Simple! Like we talked about above, ditch the spice/salt packet that comes with the noodles and make your own sauce! The ingredients for this recipe are sesame oil, packaged ramen noodles, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sriracha. The sriracha can be added to your own taste.
You will start by cooking your noodles according to package directions. While they are cooking simply heat your sesame oil in a medium skillet and saute the garlic for one minute. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the remaining sauce ingredients. Then, drain your ramen and toss them in the sauce!
You can then eat these noodles as are or taste them and see if you’d like more spice. If so, add a bit more sriracha until desired heat is reached. I happen to love sesame oil so I often drizzle more over the prepared noodles. Top these with chopped green onions, peanuts, or sesame seeds!

Enjoy!

Very good! I added a little minced ginger… because I love it! I will make it again!
I make these all the time!!! Great recipe!!!
HOLY CRAP this was just as amazing as the recipe says. I first heard about this in the Vite Ramen Facebook Community. OMG I am so happy I made this. PHENOMENAL.
If anyone only has regular soy, I used 1/8 cup regular soy and 1/8 cup water. SO GOOD
I’ve made this many times adding whatever leftovers I have. I also like to add pot stickers and/or an egg
I love this recipe. It’s easy to make and super tasty. I added shrimp and it was perfect ??
Wow loved this recipe hehe so yummy stuck to it besides cutting back on Sriracha cause cant do spicy to much. We love ramen we do with pickle juice or just sesame oil but this recipe is my favorite now
This turned out great! I used low sodium soy and it was still a bit salty. I sautéed tiny broccoli pieces first and then added the garlic, Thai peppers, and the whites of the green onion. I didn’t have two Ramen packets so I mixed noodles and it was still great. The two of us ate it all and when I come into the house I still smell it and wish there was more!
I can’t get enough of this dish. The sauce is so good and balanced. I have been using the sauce with zucchini noodles, chunks, planks. However you want to slice it.
Could you try rice noodles with this? They are just so yummy!!
Yes! Rice noodles should work great 🙂
I added chicken and broccoli to make it a little heartier for my guys but as a vegetarian I loved it as is! So quick and easy! Definitely a go to meal for soccer practice nights! Thank you!
