Instant Pot Country Style Ribs make a quick and easy weeknight dinner!

Yes, you guys!  Back in action with the Instant Pot!

After I used it to make the Instant Pot Spaghetti, I couldn’t wait to put more delicious foods up in this bad boy.

We’re also back in action with back to school.

I feel like moms and dads everywhere are torn on whether they’re happy to have their kids head back to class or not.

I’m in the “not” category this year.  Summer just went by way too fast!

Can they just go back in October or something?  Because, I mean, it IS really warm here still.

It should be illegal to send people back to school when it’s still warm enough out to go swimming.

Right??  Right.

instant pot ribs

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled food programming here.

I decided to go with country style pork ribs because they are so very meaty!

I do like baby back ribs as well, but I’ve definitely bought them, then been disappointed at the measly amount of meat I got out of it.

Using country style ribs ensures that everybody leaves the table satisfied!

Depending on your grocery store, sometimes these ribs are sold bone in, and sometimes bone out.  Mine were bone out.  But, either one will work just fine!

I love how easy these are and that I can have some tasty BBQ ribs on the table in about an hour.

Yes, I said an hour, but pretty much all of that time is hands off for you because the ribs are cooking to super tender perfection in the Instant Pot!

The dry rub for these babies is made up of spices that you most likely already have at home.

You slather the dry rub on.  Get some beef broth in the bottom of your Instant Pot.  Put the ribs in and pour on your favorite BBQ sauce.  Then, let it do it’s thing!

These boneless pork ribs will melt in your mouth, and become a new family favorite!

These really are delish! I also broiled them for 5 mins or so after, just to crisp them up a bit. REALLY GOOD!

    1. Your making me hungry lol, actually I’m working on the recipe and will tr the broiler method
Love that little bit of crispy. Thank you

Fabulous! Only thing I really tweaked was that I did the dry rub early (maybe 6 hoursish?) and refrigerated and then let them sit out for an hour or so to come to room temp. Oh, also used the trivet vs. setting them directly in the broth. They came out fall off the bone amazing! Going to freeze the leftovers for pulled pork sandwiches!

my entire family (including a 10, 9, 7 and 16-month old daughters but especially my husband) loved this recipe. Thanks for sharing!

I only had 2.75 lbs so I cooked it for 40 minutes (on a trivet, which i’ve done with other instant pot rib recipes and highly recommend) and then broiled it for 5.

    Perfection! Thanks again!

I had to use the meat setting for high. Manual won’t let me change it. And I also used the trivet to keep it out of the broth. Very good!

Made these tonight. 3.5 lbs of country spare ribs, I put some creole seasoning on them and some beef broth, I did 45 minutes and then quick release, they were so fall apart. I then transferred them to a foul lined pan and put bbq sauce on them and put in o en under broiler for 5 minutes. Turned out soooo good!!!!

    1. So I am trying this tonight, For the ribs in the insta pot did you use the pan to set them in or did you use the little stand it comes with. I recently did steak in the ista pot as well as veg in foil. And I was not impressed with how the steak turned out. It was like a roast and really had no flavor when it was done. And the veg’s were not flavorful and were kinda mushy. We are doing a mac and cheese as well. So I am trying to get the best flavor and tenderness on the meat as I can.

  6. Can I start them in the morning and let them sit all day unitil I eat in the evening? Will they stay wam like the pork roast I have done before?
