Yes, you guys! Â Back in action with the Instant Pot!
After I used it to make the Instant Pot Spaghetti, I couldn’t wait to put more delicious foods up in this bad boy.
We’re also back in action with back to school.
I feel like moms and dads everywhere are torn on whether they’re happy to have their kids head back to class or not.
I’m in the “not” category this year. Â Summer just went by way too fast!
Can they just go back in October or something? Â Because, I mean, it IS really warm here still.
It should be illegal to send people back to school when it’s still warm enough out to go swimming.
Right?? Â Right.

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled food programming here.
I decided to go with country style pork ribs because they are so very meaty!
I do like baby back ribs as well, but I’ve definitely bought them, then been disappointed at the measly amount of meat I got out of it.
Using country style ribs ensures that everybody leaves the table satisfied!
Depending on your grocery store, sometimes these ribs are sold bone in, and sometimes bone out. Â Mine were bone out. Â But, either one will work just fine!
I love how easy these are and that I can have some tasty BBQ ribs on the table in about an hour.
Yes, I said an hour, but pretty much all of that time is hands off for you because the ribs are cooking to super tender perfection in the Instant Pot!
The dry rub for these babies is made up of spices that you most likely already have at home.
You slather the dry rub on. Â Get some beef broth in the bottom of your Instant Pot. Â Put the ribs in and pour on your favorite BBQ sauce. Â Then, let it do it’s thing!
These boneless pork ribs will melt in your mouth, and become a new family favorite!

Made these with Frank’s Red Hot!
Delicious!
Did it make them spicy? I don’t have BBQ Sauce but I have Franks Red Hot Thick Sauce.
These ribs are the best and very essy to make!
Amazing! The ribs came out so incredibly tender we could have eaten them with a spoon. Definitely no knife required. I cooked them for 50 minutes (high altitude, I always add 5 minutes) and then put them under the broiler for just a few minutes with some additional bbq sauce. I used boneless ribs and had trouble removing them from the IP, they kept falling apart. Can’t wait to make this again!
I’ve had an instant pot for about six months and had only made rice a couple times…until I was looking for a recipe for country style pork ribs, and came across this. Man, what a revelation…it was delicious! Super tender, juicy, with great flavor. We loved it!
Do you put the rack in and put the ribs on it or put them in the beef broth
Put them in the broth
I’ve made this recipe so many times and it turns out supper every time!!!! Question for you. Do you think I could use this recipe for boneless chicken and would the time change!? Thanks for all your wonderful recipes!!!
Absolutely the most tender ribs Ive ever made, only change I’ll make is to cook maybe 35 min because they are falling apart tender at 45 min and I wanted to grill them a few min to finish .
Thank you for posting this comment! I am wanting to finish my ribs on the grill too and was wondering if the 45 min cook time would be too longt couldn’t find a definitive answer on the internet… until now!
Me too. There is a change in flavor with just a few minutrs on the grill ir under a boiler.
Thank you!! I am abt to make these and I, too, like to broil them a bit! I noticed 45 mins might make the boneless hard to get out of the instant pot w/out them falling apart. Excellent suggestion!
I suggest putting olive oil in bottom of IP and searing these w the dry rub on. Abt 3 mins each side. This will help hold in moisture and keep them separated from each other!
I made this last night and it turned out really good. After placing the meat under the broiler, the meat was tender to the point of falling apart. So, I decided to break it apart somewhat and added it to the baked potato that I was going to serve as a side. Superb!!
Sounds yummy! Would have been good mixed in with Mac and Cheese too.
First time using my Instant Pot and they turned out delicious. I used a store bought dry rub then pan seared the meat for a couple minutes before placing in the instant pot. They were so tender and falling apart when done. Will definitely make again!
I am going to try this but use double the amount of ribs. What would you recommend for cooking time and amount of broth?
How did it work when you doubled the meat?
