As we near closer and closer to the holidays, and baking is on my mind – I like to pull out this recipe to share with my family.

Blondies are buttery, dense and have a delicious brown sugar/vanilla flavor, similar to butterscotch.

The smell of these baking fills my home, bringing everyone together. Even if it IS to crowd around the oven waiting for these to be done!  This blondie recipe is simple to make, using just 7 ingredients and one bowl. I’d call that a winner!

How can you tell when they’re cooked?
A toothpick inserted should come out mostly dry. Don’t worry if the middle is a little soft – they’ll firm up as they cool.

  1. I’m not a huge blondie fan generally, nor have I ever made any….and yet it’s 9:30pm and I just put your recipe in the oven… So excited!!! Topped one corner with choc chips, nuts & coconut for fun.

This was my fist time making blondies. I followed the recipe exactly, and it turned out PERFECT!! I would not change a thing. I love how the outside was just a little crispy but the inside was chewy. THANK YOU! I will be making these again!

  3. My husband loves blondies. I have never made them, but I had all of the ingredients in the pantry. I added some chopped walnuts and chocolate chips. They are baking now. Can’t wait to see how they turn out!

  4. I used self rising flour instead of all purpose. Just omit the baking powder and salt. Added white chocolate chips and drizzle. ?

My family enjoyed this dessert. The simplicity of the recipe made me want to try it out. It didn’t require me to purchase any extra items as I had all these ingredients at home. We enjoyed it straight out of the oven with ice cream.
